Why paper check sheets and late defects disrupt production

Inspection sheets lost on clipboards

Today Inspectors write tick marks on paper sheets that stay on clipboards, leaving managers unaware when defects repeat.

With MG Factory Quality points record pass/fail results, measurements and defect notes directly into the system against each lot.

Defective materials reaching the line

Today Raw materials from suppliers enter production before inspection is finished, spreading defects into finished goods.

With MG Factory Incoming goods require a receipt check, and failed inspections place the lot on hold before it can be issued.

Untracked customer complaints

Today When a customer reports a flawed shipment, nobody knows which production order, work centre or batch caused it.

With MG Factory Lot traceability connects the finished item to its production checks, raw materials, operators and supplier receipts.

Supplier disputes over damaged goods

Today Rejected supplier deliveries cause long email arguments because nobody recorded exact measurements or photos on arrival.

With MG Factory Inspectors record out-of-range dimensions and attach defect photos at receipt, giving purchasing clear evidence.

What you get

Quality control tools built for manufacturing

Inspection points

Set up quality points at receipt, during specific routing operations and before final dispatch to customers.

Work centre tablet checks

Operators record pass/fail results, tolerance measurements and defect photos right on their shop-floor tablets.

Lot hold and scrap handling

A failed inspection holds the lot from further operations or delivery, recording scrap quantity and reasons.

Lots and traceability

Follow every lot or serial number from raw material receipt through production batches to the delivered customer.

Tolerance and measurement checks

Define the allowed range for a dimension, weight or temperature, and a reading outside it records a defect.

Defect logs and reporting

Review inspection history and defect patterns by finished product, raw material, supplier or work centre.

How it works

How quality checks work on your shop floor

  1. 1

    Configure quality points

Define where checks happen: on incoming supplier deliveries, at routing work centres, or before dispatch.

  2. 2

    Inspect goods and enter readings

Staff record pass or fail, enter measurement values within allowed ranges, and attach defect photos if needed.

  3. 3

    Hold defective lots

When a check fails, the lot is put on hold to prevent accidental processing or shipment while teams investigate.

  4. 4

    Review traceability and release

Approved lots move forward to stock or dispatch, with complete inspection history stored on the lot record.

FAQ

Questions we hear most

Where can we place quality checks in MG Factory?

You can set quality points at three stages: upon receiving raw materials from suppliers, at work centre operations during manufacturing, and before final dispatch to customers.

What happens when an inspection fails?

A failed check records the defect type, notes and photos, and puts the lot on hold. Held lots cannot be consumed in work orders or shipped to clients until a supervisor decides.

Is the quality control interface available in Arabic?

Yes. All screens, inspection instructions, defect forms and reports are available in Arabic and English, with full right-to-left layout support across tablets and desktops.

How is MG Factory priced, and are there per-user fees?

There are no per-user fees. In Kuwait, the Essential package is KWD 45 per month per system with a one-time KWD 100 setup. Ask for a quote for the Business and Growth AI packages.

Can we export our inspection logs and lot history?

Yes. You own your data completely. You can export quality logs and lot history to Excel or CSV at any time, and run on the regional cloud or your own server.
