Why custom workshops struggle with disconnected tools

Orders taken without checking parts

Today Sales staff confirm custom delivery dates, but the workshop discovers missing raw materials days later when assembly is about to start.

With MG Tech Material availability shows what is in stock and reserved, and raises a purchase order for missing parts from the same screen.

Workshop instructions on paper notes

Today Production drawings and cutting lists get forwarded on messaging apps or scribbled on paper, causing miscommunication and scrapped materials.

With MG Tech Operators receive step-by-step instructions and routings on work centre tablets right at the machine.

True job costs remain unknown

Today Material scrap, machine hours, and extra technician time are not logged, leaving managers guessing whether a custom job made a profit.

With MG Tech Batch costing rolls up raw materials, operator labour, and machine time into the actual cost of every production order.

Invoicing disconnected from production

Today The office waits for phone updates from the workshop before preparing bills, leading to delayed invoicing and slow client collections.

With MG Tech The sales order tracks production completion, issues the delivery note, and generates the invoice with KWD amounts ready for WhatsApp.

How it works

How make to order runs from quotation to customer delivery

  1. 1

Confirm quote and create sales order

Sales staff create an Arabic or English quotation for the custom product, which becomes a confirmed sales order upon approval.

  2. 2

Check stock and order missing parts

The confirmed order raises the production order; material availability flags the missing components and the buyer orders them from the same screen.

  3. 3

    Manufacture across work centres

Operators follow routings on shop tablets, log machine time and scrap, and record quality inspection checks before completion.

  4. 4

    Review actual cost and dispatch

Batch costing calculates final costs, stock moves to delivery, and the sales invoice is issued in KWD and sent on WhatsApp.
