Material availability for factory production orders
Know what is missing for each order, check available and reserved warehouse stock against the BOM, and raise purchase orders for missing components from the same screen.

Today
Operators open a production order in the morning only to find critical raw materials or packaging items missing from the warehouse shelves.
With MG Factory
The system checks BOM requirements against warehouse stock before production starts, showing available, reserved and missing quantities clearly.
Materials reserved for other jobs
Today
Storekeepers see stock on shelves but do not know whether the items are already promised to an active batch running on another line.
With MG Factory
Warehouse stock separates unreserved quantities from components reserved for ongoing production orders, preventing double allocation.
Re-typing orders from phone messages
Today
Purchasing teams receive shortage alerts over WhatsApp messages and re-type item numbers, quantities and supplier details into purchase bills.
With MG Factory
Buyers raise purchase orders for missing components directly from the availability screen, with correct vendor details and BOM quantities.
No visibility on incoming deliveries
Today
Production planners stop scheduling jobs because they cannot tell whether replacement raw materials have been ordered or shipped by suppliers.
With MG Factory
The availability screen links open purchase orders to each missing item, showing expected receipts before scheduling work centres.

What you get in MG Factory material availability
BOM component availability
Compare multi-level BOM requirements with current warehouse stock to see available, reserved and missing quantities for each production order.
Purchase orders for missing items
Raise purchase orders for missing parts and raw materials from the same screen, passing component quantities and supplier prices to purchasing.
Multi-warehouse inventory

Lots and traceability
Follow every lot or serial number from raw material receipt through production to customer delivery, recording inspection points and expiry dates.
MRP suggestions
Sales orders and minimum stock turn into proposed production and purchase orders before shortages interrupt work centres on the factory floor.
Batch costing
Planned against actual cost for every production order, rolling up materials, labour and machine time into the real cost of each finished batch.
How it works
How material availability works on the factory floor
1
Create a production order
Select the finished product and quantity; the system loads the multi-level BOM with required raw materials, sub-assemblies and scrap rates.
2
Check component availability
Review component status across warehouses: items in stock are reserved for the batch, while missing parts are flagged with exact shortfall counts.
3
Raise supplier purchase orders
Generate purchase orders for the missing quantities directly from the screen, sending orders to approved vendors with KWD pricing to 3 decimals.
4
Receive stock and release the batch
Incoming supplier deliveries update warehouse stock and lot numbers, completing material availability so work centre operators can begin production.
How does MG Factory check material availability for production orders?
The system compares the quantities in the bill of materials against on-hand warehouse stock, what is already reserved for other orders, and what is on open purchase orders. You see available, reserved and missing counts per component.
Can we raise purchase orders for missing components directly?
Yes. When components are missing, the buyer raises purchase orders to suppliers from the same screen. Vendor bills and incoming receipts post to accounting without re-typing, maintaining accurate item costs and quantities.
Can you migrate our raw materials and opening inventory from Excel?
Yes. Migrating your products, components, bills of materials, suppliers and opening stock counts is part of setup. Your team reviews the data before go-live, with implementation typically taking 4 to 8 weeks.
How is MG Factory priced, and do we pay per user?
There are no per-user fees. In Kuwait, the Essential package is KWD 45 per month per system plus a one-time KWD 100 setup, including 3 free support hours. Arabic and English support runs Saturday to Thursday, 9 am to 9 pm.
Who owns our production and material data, and where does it run?
You own your data. You can export Excel or CSV files from every list at any time, or request a complete database backup. MG Factory runs on the regional cloud or on your company's own server.
